Two poems: ‘Sensitive’ and ‘The Janitor’

Sensitive

Sensitive
is
a
word

that
shivers
off
the
tongue

expecting
a
laugh

instead
silence,
only
quiet.

The Janitor

I’m
happy
where
I’m
at

pushing
the
dustmop

I’m
in
the
light.
